Tea Party Chic…

With the Jubilee approaching, what better to do than something thoroughly British.

I was lucky enough to visit Bake-a-Boo at the weekend – and what a delight it was! The Afternoon Tea was totally scrumptious! We were spoilt with Summer tea, finger sandwiches, scones, cupcakes and brownies *yummy!*. The Cake stand arrived, piled high with treats and what we couldn’t finish we were allowed to take home for later. The staff were just lovely too and it felt like a real treat! The tea room is decorated head to toe in cute kitsch with knitted cupcakes hanging from the chandeliers! It’s a girly heaven!  I had the gluten free version of their afternoon-tea-party and I would highly recommend it.  They also offer dairy free, sugar free and vegan cakes so all diets are catered for and no-one has to go without!

But it’s not all cake at Bake-a-Boo, they also offer workshops so you can explore your creative side too. A tea party with a twist could make the perfect hen party for a stylish bride to be. Whilst you enjoy tea and cake you can also learn to make fascinators, the art of flower arranging or even have a burlesque lesson!

If you aren’t near Bake-a-Boo, then why not create an Afternoon Tea at home? Perfect for the Jubilee weekend, an informal hen do or just a lovely afternoon with the girls! An at home afternoon tea is made easy with some home baked treats and lots of tea! Check out the below for some inspiration and take a look at our 5 jubilee must haves
