A Tuscan Love Story: Louise and Tim…

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today’s post is a gorgeous Tuscan wedding shot {and written} by the lovely Teri Vincent

Louise and Tim went on holiday to ‘Lucignano’ in Tuscany years ago when they first met and fell in love with the place. So much so that they vowed that if they were ever to marry then this would be the place, and they did it. The wedding took place over 3 days starting with a stylish cocktail party at a gorgeous villa rented by Louise’s Aunt & Uncle on the friday night and carrying over the whole weekend to finish with a group meal on the sunday night, although we only shot until late saturday night. My husband and I shot the wedding together and then spent a few days in the scenic Florance on the way home to celebrate our own 10 year wedding anniversary, so everything worked out perfectly.

On saturday the ceremony took place at an amazing little chapel in the small village of Lucignano, complete with opulent oil paintings and excessive chandeliers, the village was typical of Tuscany with its twisting, winding streets and crumbling facades. This was ideal for a walk with the couple afterwards whilst the guests made their way to the reception. The reception was at a typical (but huge!) Tuscan Villa with marquee tents and olive groves…

There was rain but it was happy, romantic rain! Tuscan rain just adds to the charm. Everyone was relaxed and beautiful that the whole wedding felt perfect and that it was meant to be. Louise is an interiors stylist by day so the attention to detail and the extra finishing touches were just lovely and her dress was understated, simple, vintage inspired, gorgeous and just oh so perfect..!!!
