All Wrapped Up…
Posted on December 19, 2012 | No CommentsI admit that I am not the world’s best at wrapping presents. I try though and it’s still a part of Christmas I really enjoy! I crack out my Christmas music (this year it is the ever so lovely Michael Buble!), make a hot chocolate and make the most my wrapping time. You can really have some fun with wrapping too. Festive papers are shiny and glitzy and you simply can’t beat a big shiny bow. This year we went for simple... -
DIY Christmas Baubles…
Posted on December 17, 2012 | No CommentsHappy Monday everyone! Today I am very excited to share my fun weekend project with you. I loved the “DIY baubles” feature from our December Top Ten post and decided to make some myself to hang on my tree. I ordered some clear baubles from the internet {you can buy them here} and over the weekend I had a lot of fun filling them with glitter and confetti and finishing them off with pretty pink and grey ribbons. I then had even more... -
Peppermint Mochas…
Posted on December 16, 2012 | No CommentsOne of our favourite treats over the festive season are peppermint mochas, so we thought we would have a go at making some ourselves. We used: Instant Coffee Hot Chocolate Powder Homemade Peppermint Syrup (we used this recipe, but you can use shop bought too) Whipped Cream Milk 1. Make up the instant coffee, using boling water. Fill your mug with less 1/3 of coffee, leaving space for your hot chocolate. 2. Make up your hot chocolate or cocoa with... -

To make the wreath you will need: mixed size polystyrene balls and a polystyrene disc, glitter, PVA glue {I... -

Life and Love…
Posted on October 6, 2012 | No CommentsSometimes you meet people that really inspire you, be that to go out and do something you didn’t think you could do, or just change the way you think about things. When I got up at 4.30 this morning {yes, I did write that correctly. 4.30am!} I had no idea I would be lucky enough to meet such people. I’d hiked 6 miles down and back up the Grand Canyon and was feeling pretty sorry for myself. After falling... -
